Here you can find all the information regarding Kundalini Beach The beachhouses are built in 2010-2011, by 3 families. Ume Anyar is an easygoing part of the quiet north coast of Bali. Seririt is a regional centre for shops and services. You will notice that western tourists are still rare, but very welcome. Kundalini is built in a peaceful and tolerant area of hindu, buddhist and moslim religions. During your stay you may hear, see and notice these religions.

Each villa has a living, a large shaded terrace, four bedrooms and bathrooms, a kitchen, a garden, a swimmingpool, and a Bale Belong ( little shade resthouse, near the beach) Staff for the three Kundalini Beachhouses consist of: 4 cooks/household, 3 garderners, 3 securitymen  When you want to go for a swim in the sea, access is the easiest in front of villa 1. Please pay attention to the coral reef in front of villa 2. and 3.

Every day the kundalini staff will hold small ceremonies offer, and give offers at the different temples in the resort. We ask you to respect this and to give opportunity to do so.

Electricity  Per house, there is a maximum use of 10000 watts.The staff knows how to handle and divide the usage of the heavy electricity users during daytime (poolpumps, boilers). Please note that the airconditioning consumes  a lot of energy. Our experience is that with a selected temperature (on the remote- handset) of 25 C. sleeping is very comfortable.

In Bali it often happens that electricity breaks down, which can either be  a technical problem at the power plant or an over usage in the villa itself.  In that last case, you can switch off/lower, one or two heavy users. Our security guards at the main entrance can assist you during night.  Each villa has some emergency lights, please recharge after using them.

Kundalini has wifi : speed and continuity are not US or Eurpean quality but emailing, sending pictures, normal use of internet is very well possible. Use of wifi is free. The cost for electricity will be taken into account from your caution.

Meals Each villa has its own cook who will prepare the meals for you,  breakfast, lunch and dinner. They are excellent cooks and know the local dishes as well as some international meals:  Nasi, French fries, Chapchoy, Clubsandwich, Springrolls, Sate, Soup, Rendang, Spaghetti/ Macaroni, Gado gado, Pancakes. They can also prepare very exquisite  and traditional Balinese and Indonesian dishes: Ayam panggang, Uraban, Plecing Kangkung, Ikan goreng sambal matah, Placing kangkung and Pepes.

The cook will do the shopping for you. You pay her in advance an amount and she will show you the shoppingbills afterwards. Good dishes, normally cost  about 80.000 IDR per person per day for 3 meals alltogether. You can also buy your own fish in the little village Raja Tama (or catch it yourself) and  let the cook prepare it for you.

Working hours for cooks/household and pool/garden men are: 08.00 till 16.00. The cook will prepare your evening meal before 16.00. You only have to heat it up in magnetron or oven at your chosen dinnertime. If you want the cook to work after 16.00,  this is possible, you pay her 20.000 IDR per hour in cash. The resort has a three shift security. The security helps you when you come home in the evening. If you need help with anything else during evening/night they will assist you.  During night security makes a few rounds and they offer at the temples. Security works from 16.00 till 08.00

All villas have a straw roof. Therefore it’s forbidden to make fire or use fireworks, anywhere near the villas.

Shopping

In Seririt you’ll find a western supermarket called Hardy’s. Drivers know where to find it. Also try small busses ( Bemo) on the mainroad (± 5000IDR). On the market and in the religionshops you can find beautiful batik and all kinds of nice things to take home as a souvenir. For tourist shopping you go to Lovina. in Lovina you will find more restaurants, terraces and even some nightlife.
